- Is this gambling?
- No. MaybeDay is a promotional sweepstakes: entry is always free, no purchase is ever required to participate or to have full odds, and the prize fund is provided entirely by us — never pooled from participants. That's the legal line between a sweepstakes and a lottery, and we designed MaybeDay to stay clearly on the free side of it.
- Do I have to pay anything to enter?
- Never. Getting your card, entering each day, and receiving a sponsored purchase are all completely free. If we ever offer optional paid extras in the future, they will never affect your odds of winning.
- How do you decide who wins?
- Each day's fixed prize fund is allocated across that day's eligible attempts using an equal-odds random process. Once the fund is used up for the day, that day's window closes, and everyone gets a new independent chance the next day.
- Is there a limit on how much I can win?
- Yes. To keep things fair for everyone, each participant can win a capped number of times and a capped total dollar amount per year. Full limits will be published in our official rules before launch.
- Do I need a virtual card to participate?
- The tap-to-pay card is our flagship experience, and getting one requires standard identity verification, as with any bank-issued card. We'll also offer a no-purchase, no-card entry method so anyone can participate and be eligible to win, even without a card.
